Cybersecurity and safer websites in Oman
From penetration testing and red team operations to PDPL-compliant web development — IKZERO helps Omani businesses build, launch, and protect their digital presence, from Muscat to Salalah and across the Gulf.
One team builds it, tests it and keeps it safe
Oman's Vision 2040 is accelerating digital transformation across sectors. Since the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL, Royal Decree 6/2022) came into force in February 2023, data handling compliance is a mandatory element of every web and application build. IKZERO starts with security: we find the weak spots an attacker would use, build sites and apps that are locked down and shaped around the law from the first line of code, and give you what you need to prove it — in Arabic and English.

Common questions
Does my Omani business need to comply with the PDPL?
Oman's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL, Royal Decree 6/2022) has been in force since February 2023, and its Executive Regulations (Ministerial Decision 34/2024) fill in the detail. It covers personal data processed in Oman, and the law carves out cases of its own — data you handle purely to carry out a contract with that person, for instance, or data that is already public. Where it does apply, we build to what it asks for: consent handled properly, a privacy notice people can read, and working routes for someone to see, correct or delete what you hold — lined up with what the MTCIT publishes.
What cybersecurity services do you offer in Oman?
We break into your systems safely to show you the holes (penetration testing), run full attack rehearsals (red team), check your cloud and the links between your systems (APIs), help you meet the PDPL and other rules, build websites and apps safely, and watch your systems day and night. We work across Oman and the wider Gulf, remotely and on-site.
Can you build a bilingual Arabic and English website?
Yes. We build real right-to-left (RTL) Arabic layouts with Arabic type that reads properly — not a mirrored afterthought — alongside English, so both audiences get the same quality.
Do you integrate local payment gateways?
Yes — Omani ones such as Thawani and OmanNet, plus Stripe and PayPal. The checkout is built to resist fraud and written with the card payment rules (PCI DSS) in mind.
How much does this cost in Oman?
It depends on the job — a penetration test, a small marketing site and a custom web app are very different pieces of work. We scope it around what you want and quote in OMR, with no surprise costs.
Do you work with businesses outside Muscat?
Yes. All over Oman — Muscat, Sohar, Salalah and beyond — and the rest of the Gulf, remotely or on-site as needed.
